In partnership with our trusted collaborator, Truck & Training Logistics (PTY) Ltd, we provide a comprehensive range of services — from mechanical repairs and maintenance to complete refurbishment of armoured vehicles.
We offer special rates for long-term rentals and ensure 24/7 roadside assistance, mechanical support, and access to trained armoured vehicle drivers. Our commitment is to provide a seamless, professional, and hands-on service experience from start to finish.
The Ratel Service Life Extension Programme (SLEP)
OTT Solutions proudly spearheaded the Ratel Life Extension Programme (SLEP) in partnership with the OTT Group of Companies, including OTT Technologies and ADG Mobility.
This initiative focused on enhancing mobility, protection, and firepower, showcasing the strength of collaboration within the South African Defence Industry. The programme delivered practical, cost-effective solutions that directly benefit the South African National Defence Force (SANDF).
Successful demonstrations were conducted at Gerotek for the Department of Defence and Military Veterans, followed by a live-fire exercise at Lohatla, underscoring the programme’s success and capability.

The South African National Military Veterans Association (SANMVA) holds a 51% shareholding in the company and is represented on the Board of Directors by Lt Gen DM Mgwebi (Retired), who also serves as Chairman of the Board, and Mr GM Biya, representing SANMVA.
The second shareholder, OTT Technologies (PTY) Ltd, holds a 49% shareholding in the company and is represented on the Board of Directors by Mr. André Olivier also the Managing Director of OTT Solutions and Mr. Anton van Rensburg.
The directors and shareholders bring together over 45 years of experience in this specialized field, complemented by extensive military service within the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) at senior leadership levels.
Building on a legacy of excellence in the South African defence industry, the company’s business model leverages established in-house research and development, design, manufacturing, and assembly capabilities at the OTT facilities in Pretoria. This initiative is designed to create meaningful opportunities for military veterans and their dependents, promoting job creation, skills development, and active participation of members of the South African National Military Veterans Association (SANMVA) within the broader defence and manufacturing sectors.
There is a great need for South African innovation, technology and expertise in this field that will save both time and money to our stakeholders. We would be in a position to supply local equipment that to date had to be imported as it was not locally available.
Existing vehicle fleets can be refurbished and/or maintained to meet the current operational needs and to support the preventative maintenance programs. Our in-house engineers will work, design and plan with our clients to optimize our products and services to the specifications and standards required. In addition to this, we will be honouring the military veterans for their sacrifices and service to their country for their role in the democratization of South Africa.

Scope of Work
OTT Solutions (PTY) Ltd leverages the expertise and experience of its shareholders and directors, drawing on over 45 years of proven experience from OTT Technologies (PTY) Ltd in the refurbishment, maintenance, and construction of innovative military and commercial vehicles.
Our track record includes numerous satisfied clients across Africa and beyond, serving various Defence Forces, United Nations Peacekeeping Operations, and African Union Peacekeeping Operations.
We offer in-house research and development capabilities, supported by project management engineers and CAD operators, who create detailed technical manuals for every product supplied.
To ensure optimal performance in the field, we provide well-equipped mobile workshops and dedicated technical staff, offering full support to our products and clients in their countries of operation.
From the South African National Military Veterans Association (SANMVA), OTT Solutions benefits from the expertise of respected veterans with extensive military experience and a deep understanding of the requirements of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF).

FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS
The company anticipates funding from its shareholders and/or suitable financiers or project investors, secured through sound contractual agreements awarded to the company.
We expect to achieve the budgeted profits and cash flow targets within the first year of operations. Thereafter, the company will focus on sustaining and growing profitability and cash flow in line with a rolling three-year budget plan.

OTT Solutions (PTY) Ltd is in its 11th year of operations and was established in full alignment with the principles of the Military Veterans Act (Act 18 of 2011) and the Military Veterans Benefits Regulations (Government Gazette 37355, 19 February 2015).
This venture is designed to create meaningful opportunities for military veterans and their dependents, supporting job creation and the active participation of SANMVA members in downstream operations.

Ownership – 51% of issued and paid-up shares are held by the South African National Military Veterans Association (SANMVA), representing all military veterans.
Management control – The board includes 50% Black directors, representing the 51% shareholding of SANMVA, with the Chairman of the Board being one of these directors.
Future status
Enterprise and Supplier Development
The board is committed to creating cooperatives for military veterans and their families. These cooperatives will receive financial support, management and technical training, equipment, and guidance to help establish and grow micro-enterprises, fostering economic empowerment and self-sufficiency.
