The Board of OTT Solutions had the pleasure of welcoming the SANMVA Trust Board of Trustees during their recent visit. The delegation visited OTT Solutions, ADGM, and OTT Technologies, where both parties exchanged valuable business ideas and explored potential areas of collaboration.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to reconvene in November 2025 to develop a comprehensive marketing plan that will strengthen future partnerships and shared objectives.
On 4 September 2025, the OTT Group (ADGM, LMT, and OTT Technologies) had the privilege of hosting the Board of Directors of OTT Solutions on a fact-finding mission. The visit aimed to familiarise the newly appointed directors, Lt Gen (Rtd) D. Mgwebi and Mr. George Biya, with the group’s extensive capacity and capabilities. We were also honoured to welcome two representatives from Armscor, who joined us for this important occasion.
OTT Solutions (Pty) Ltd is proud to announce the appointment of Lt Gen (Rtd) Derick Mgwebi as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Lt Gen (Rtd) Mgwebi brings over 35 years of distinguished service in the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) and public sector, complemented by extensive national and international experience in strategic leadership, governance, peacekeeping operations, conflict resolution, military diplomacy, and risk and crisis management.
Throughout his illustrious career, he has held senior command roles, including Chief of Joint Operations and Chief of Human Resources in the SANDF. His global leadership experience includes serving as Force Commander in Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) under the auspices of the African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN). Following his military career, Lt Gen (Rtd) Mgwebi continued to serve the nation as Acting Director General of Military Veterans Affairs.
His combination of strategic insight, operational expertise, and diplomatic acumen makes him an invaluable addition to the OTT Solutions board. Lt Gen (Rtd) Mgwebi holds a Diploma in Defence Management and a Degree in Business Administration.
We warmly welcome him and look forward to his leadership in guiding OTT Solutions toward continued growth and excellence.
OTT Solutions recently had the joy of hosting a very special visit — Oupa's grandkids came by to see where he works and to get an up-close look at the impressive armoured vehicles he helps maintain.
From the powerful RATEL SLEP to the iconic Mamba and Nyala vehicles, the children were wide-eyed with excitement as they explored these important machines that play a key role in defence.
It was a proud moment for Oupa to share his passion and expertise with the next generation — a day filled with curiosity, smiles, and a bit of grease!
